Organized by the MBA Club of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Coimbra (FEUC), the Connect Your Dots event will take place on January 24th at the Convento São Francisco in Coimbra, focusing on Digital Transformation and highlighting key areas such as Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.

This edition will emphasize the importance of Cybersecurity in the context of increasing cyberattacks that challenge governments, companies, and citizens. Proactive strategies to protect digital resources and strengthen trust in the digital environment will be explored. On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence will be presented as a transformative force with significant impact in sectors such as healthcare, promoting innovative advancements and operational efficiency.

Featuring a diverse panel of specialists, Connect Your Dots will host renowned names such as António Gameiro Marques, Director-General of the National Security Office; Carlos Robalo Cordeiro, Director of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Coimbra; and André Baptista, the world’s most valuable hacker and a native of Coimbra. Additionally, representatives from leading companies like Philips, Linde, Johnson & Johnson, BIAL, Critical Software, and Feedzai will share unique insights into the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of technology and society.
